GOES to the WOODS!
This year, Summer Alive nature camp will be held in two locations. Weather permitting, Summer Alive is held in the woods at the end of Bower Street in Montgomery. We are grateful to the Montgomery Water Authority for allowing campers to have a genuine nature experience in this beautiful hardwood forest. On days when the weather does not allow us to be in the woods, the spacious Montgomery Borough Park, framed by Route 54 and the Susquehanna River, at 119 First Street in Montgomery, PA, provides picnic pavilions and a lodge for Summer Alive activities.

REGISTRATION IS COMING SOON for this cutting-edge, nature-based, child-directed program of free expression. Outdoor creativity, exploration, and play activities will take place in a supportive, caring, and affirming community where we allow nature to spark an innate sense of awe and wonder, where cooperation and kindness are exemplified, and where the unique gifts of every child are recognized and fostered.
Summer Alive will welcome kids from 5 – 10 years of age.
- Acorns are ages 5, 6, 7, and must have completed kindergarten. Acorn camp (Sessions 1 and 2) runs from June 15 – 26.
- Oaks are the 8, 9, and 10-year-old group. Oak camp (Sessions 3 and 4) runs from June 29 to July 10.
Camp is held from 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM Monday through Friday. Children may attend one or both weekly, age-appropriate sessions.
CAMP TUITION
In order for the program to remain sustainable, Summer Alive has tuition costs for participants. Regular tuition is $75 per session per child. A limited number of scholarships are available to qualified applicants.
